Grace Baptist Academy is launching a new phase of innovation and transformation with the creation of STEM focused interdisciplinary education. Our goal is to provide hands-on project based learning experiences in which students use 21st century skills collaboratively to solve real world problems. Through this process, students will learn essential 21st century skills while at the same time exceeding commonly established standards. Our vision is to ensure that all participating students are prepared to graduate from high school with the skills needed to be ready for both higher education and the workforce.
We are seeking a highly motivated leader with strong skills to launch this program with passion and excellence. The STEM Coordinator will teach up to 3 higher level Math courses in the Upper School academic program combined with oversight responsibility of the STEM program of Grace Academy. The STEM Coordinator is responsible for developing, promoting, coordinating, and teaching STEM programs both during school and after school hours. Primary responsibilities include program instruction, curriculum development and revision, and materials management. The STEM Coordinator also recruits, secures, supervises, and mentors contract instructors who teach in the program. This position reports to the Upper School Principal.
