December Ad / CHATTER Magazine
When Chatter Magazine devoted its October issue to the Arts, there were many areas of artistic excellence that could have been highlighted from Grace Academy.
Our classroom artists have excelled in drawings from pencil to pen and ink and even charcoal. Paintings in oil and acrylics as well as work in ceramics have been amazing.
Our performing arts have a long history of excellence with award-winning choirs and outstanding dramatic performances. The relatively new marching band program is progressing at a rapid rate, too, as they have already experienced some success in their competitions.
But it was the production of the Broadway musical "Annie" that was selected to portray both the quality and importance of the Arts in our Grace community. Perhaps no other performance has engaged such a broad range of the GBA family. And rarely has an event carried such a profound sense of purpose or clearly stated its mission to an entire community.
