Michelle Stevens has been an Upper School Math Teacher for three years now. She obtained a B.A. in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Fresno Pacific University and plans to pursue a Master's degree in the future.
She loves to bake and read in her free time. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and watching movies.
Michelle's favorite Bible verse is Psalm 84:11, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord grants favor and honor; He does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity."
Michelle says," I love that I am surrounded by such supportive coworkers who have really become my family. I also love teaching because I get to take my passion and inspire students to see the beauty of God's created order in math".

Dr. Steve Euler, also known as "Doc," has served at Grace Academy for over 30 years. He is the founding Pastor of Grace Baptist Church and served as the lead Pastor for 37 years.
He currently teaches Dual Enrollment Speech in our upper school. Doc also serves as the middle and high school tennis coach. He has been leading our tennis teams for over nine years.
He and his wife have four children, all who are GBA Alumni. They have two grandchildren who attend Grace: Taylor, who is a senior and Knox, who is in the 5th Grade.
Doc loves teaching and watching his students grow both academically and spiritually. We love having Doc on our team at GBA. He has selflessly given himself to the GBC and GBA ministries for several years. If you ask anyone about Doc they will not hesitate to tell you that they love him and everything he does.

Elizabeth Thatcher has been serving at Grace Academy for 4 years as a Kindergarten Teacher. She has been a part of the GBA Family for a long time, including her years as a student here. Elizabeth is a 2001 Alumna who loves Grace Academy.
Elizabeth and her husband, Carter have been married for 14 years and they have two daughters who both attend GBA. One daughter, Madeline is in 2nd grade and the other, Anna is in 7th grade.
Elizabeth's favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, " For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
"I love that I can openly share Jesus without risking losing my job. Students come to me and ask me to pray for them, which I didn't have at the previous schools I taught at", says Elizabeth.
We are very blessed to have a passionate teacher like Elizabeth on our team. She will always go the extra mile to pray for a student, faculty member, or anyone in need of prayer. Elizabeth is genuine and truly cares for the people around her. If you know her, you know that she has a servant's heart and loves to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Courtney serves as our Admissions Coordinator. She has been serving at Grace for 2 and a half years. Courtney also leads our Lower School Cross Country team in the fall.
Courtney is married to Forrest, and they have two sons. One who graduated last year and one who is currently a sophomore.
Courtney loves to work at GBA because her job consists of meeting new families each week and building relationships with them while she walks alongside them through the entire admissions process.
Courtney also loves getting random high-fives from students and seeing smiles on their faces in the hallways throughout the day.
Courtney is a very vibrant people-person who loves to serve in any way she can. She works diligently to ensure that new families feel welcomed and comfortable when they join Grace. "I love to meet new families and hear their stories. I also really love to show off our amazing teachers and the gifts that they use to teach our students", says Courtney.
We are so blessed to have a hard-working, charismatic, and loving teammate like Courtney. It is a joy to watch her interact with new families and help add people to our Grace community.
Brent has served at Grace Academy for over 10 years. He is our Facilities and Grounds Manager. Brent stays on top of everything that falls under the umbrella of maintenance and facilities. He loves to help out in any way that he can because he is deeply invested in GBA. Brent is married to his wife, Sarah Beasley, who serves as the Lower School Bible Teacher.
"I love getting to work alongside my wife every day", says Brent.
Brent is dedicated to making sure our campus is well taken care of at all costs. Even though he is not in the classroom with students every day, he still gets to interact with them from time to time.
"I am inspired by watching students grow and be affected positively by the love of all of the teachers here at Grace", says Brent.

Megan serves as a 1st Grade teacher at Grace and she has been teaching for 4 years.
Megan spent quite some time attending school at GBA herself. So, she has been at Grace for 22 years, if you count her time as a student.
She loves to paint and make any kind of home decorations she can find on Pinterest.
Megan's Favorite verse is Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.*
"My favorite thing about teaching at Grace is watching my students grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus throughout the year. I can share the Gospel with them, pray with them, and talk about the Bible in every subject I teach", says Megan.
We are honored to have a devoted and caring teammate like Megan. We love it when our Alumni come back and pour into the lives of students.
Matt serves as the Upper School Spanish Teacher. All of our students call him, Señor Hall. Matt has been at Grace for 15 years.
Matt and his wife Kelly have been married for 11 years and they have 6 kids, 7 grandkids, and 1 on the way.
Matt is the Lead Pastor at Living Word Fellowship. He has been a Pastor for 30 years and has had the privilege of visiting 5 continents, where he shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Matt's favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 15:10, "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me."
"My wonderful students are my favorite part of being at GBA", says Matt.
We are grateful to have a loving and caring teammate like Matt.
Stephanie serves as the K-12 Vocal / General Music Teacher. She has been at Grace for 6 years.
She is married to her husband, Christopher and they have a son, Jack, who is currently enrolled in Prek.
She loves to cook and bake in her free time and she has made a total of 4 wedding cakes.
Stephanie's favorite Bible verse is Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
"I love being able to share my faith with my students and make meaningful connections with our families. We are truly all family at Grace", says Stephanie.

Adam Love serves as the lead Pastor at Grace Baptist Church. He is teaching 12th-grade World Religions Bible class this year. Pastor Love is married to his wife, Kelly and they have 4 sons. Three of them are GBA graduates and their youngest is currently enrolled as a freshman.
Pastor Love enjoys golfing, reading, and hiking during his free time. He has served in Pastoral Ministry for 28 years and amongst those years over 10 years teaching in private education.
We asked Pastor Love why he is excited about teaching this year at Grace Academy, his response was: "Interacting with the youth of our day. I love seeing them excited about the prospects of what the future holds and being a part of that experience."

Liz Cooper served as our Lower School STEAM teacher in the year of 2023-2024. She has recently transitioned to our Upper School Art Teacher.
Liz loves to paint, hike, go to concerts, drink coffee, and talk about Jesus in her free time.
Liz and her husband, Kevin have 3 children, all of who attend GBA.
Liz says, "I have been so excited to move into this new position because I love working with teenagers and having deep discussions about the spiritual gift of creativity and how it can and should glorify God."
We are grateful to have a committed and talented teammate like Liz.
Sarah Beasley has been serving at Grace for over 10 years. Sarah currently serves as the lower school Bible Teacher. Sarah has the pleasure of working with our young students every day, teaching them about God's truth.
Sarah loves Volkswagen Beetle Convertibles. The one she drives now is her 6th one that she has owned. Sarah also loves chihuahua puppies.
Sarah's favorite Bible verses are Jeremiah 20:9, 1 Peter 4:11, John 8:32, Phil 1:21, John 15:18, Hebrews 4:12, Hebrews 12:29, John 15:11, and Revelation 22:13. Sarah will be the first to tell you she loves her job because she gets to see students' lives changed by Jesus, daily.
If you ever catch Sarah in the hallway and you ask her how she is doing, her response will always be, "better than I deserve".

Carolyn Barry has served at Grace for over 30 years. When she first arrived to Grace she was the art teacher for elementary through 12th grade. Now, she currently teaches middle and high school art. She has served as the Student Government sponsor, a Junior class sponsor and she mentors several high school young ladies.
Carolyn and her husband Dan, have been married for 43 years. They have 3 sons and they all are grace graduates. Carolyn has 7 grandchildren and 1 on the way.
Carolyn is one of the most genuine people that we have on our team at Grace. Carolyn is kind and encouraging to all of her students. She has such a loving spirit and she loves to talk about the talent of her students.
Bob Ateca has served at Grace for over 10 years. During his time here, he has served as the Dean of Students, Director of Advancement and High School Principal. He currently serves as the Director of Athletics and Campus Safety. Bob also serves as the Head high school football coach.
For the past 3 years, our high school football team played in the TSIAA 8-man football league. Bob led the high school football team in 2020 to a perfect 11-0 record, winning the State Championship.
Bob is married to his wife, Regina and they have been married for 34 years. Bob has 4 children, two of which who are GBA graduates from the class of 2014 and 2022.
Bob has over 30 years of coaching experience. He began in 1990. He began at Houston Co. as the head football coach of the high school football team. He then moved in 1995 to be the head football coach at Clarksville High School. In 2001 he became the Offensive Coordinator for the football team at Austin Peay State University. Then he moved to the McCallie School as the Offensive Coordinator in 2008. Finally, 2010 is when he joined Grace Academy.
We are blessed to have Bob on our leadership team at Grace Academy. His professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to lead in tough situations have been essential to our growth at Grace.
Aaron Arnold teaches 4th Grade. He first started as the STEAM teacher in lower school. Aaron has been serving at Grace for 4 years.
One unique thing about Aaron is that he once served as the moderator of the local C.S. Lewis Society, while the lead moderator served as warden of the Kilns (the house Lewis lived in). While in this role, Aaron hosted a few well-known Lewis scholars at his house.
Aaron's favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28. Aaron's favorite thing about teaching at Grace is that it feels like being a part of a large, but close knit family. "the atmosphere is great and it's wonderful to be a part of a teaching team that you can be encouraged by on a regular basis", says Mr. Aarold.
