Jessie Anne Compton
Class of '11
Jessie Anne Compton is a graduate of the Grace Academy class of 2011. She is currently a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee where she teaches K-5 elementary music at Northshore Elementary School. Jessie Anne attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Music Education. Since 2013 she has been actively involved with the non-profit organization the Joy of Music School where she taught voice, piano, and directed the children's choir and online music classes.
Jessie Anne's passion at her school is building an elementary career at Grace.musical theatre program that promotes community and leadership skills among students and the team of staff who participate in the program. Jessie Anne was recognized by her peers at Northshore Elementary School and received the Teacher of the Year award from her school during the 2020-2021 school year. She is actively involved at Shoreline Church in Knoxville, Tennessee where she serves as a high school girls student leader.
